The Briar Patch •~>~•~
Along an earthen, forest path - quite surprisingly - arises a thick patch of wild woodland briar, as far as the eye can see.
Tiny crimson red berries dot the landscape like droplets of blood on canvas.
Innocent enough, the berries are, it is the endless and near invisible thorns accompanying them that you need watch out for.
Continue on and you take the chance of becoming completely engulfed in the tangle of slender, stinging spines … however, you may feel quite the warrior when you emerge from the other side, albeit somewhat tattered, yet still standing.
You have survived the wrath of the briar ...
And certainly, though not to your fault, you contemplate another way home.

Our homage to the Briar Patch resides within an organic layering of antiqued brass chain, held by detailed vintage brass leaves and topped with tiny hand-wired berry red Czech glass beads.
Each time you wear this beauty, the "vines & branches" will find a slightly new path ~ mimicking that of the wild briar itself.
