Wakehurst Library ~~
Libraries hold a very special place in the hearts of many a Cloven resident.
Entire, what seem like palaces, dedicated to the archiving and housing of thousands of enduring pages bound by parchment & paper, yielding leather and exotic inks.
Ancient texts, primordial references and volumes of worldly knowledge and literary cornerstones, neatly tucked away upon their shelves, awaiting the next pair of eyes that shall discover their tidings within.
One place of such nature is Wakehurst Library.
Seekers of both fiction and non endlessly scour the towering, dusty stacks for their next adventure or unwitting inspiration.
The aroma of aging anthologies steeped in the centuries is enough to pique the interest of even the greenest of intellectuals.
Strands of hand crocheted yarn resemble much the time worn pages of Wakehurst's literary treasures.
Rich cream, soft oyster and aged parchment are it's matrix.
The yarn has a chunky, rustic look and soft hand ... and will continue to soften with wear.
The scarf itself measures 4.75" wide x 84" long.
This Storyteller scarf can be both machine washed cold and dried ... however we do recommend using a delicates bag to do so.
