They inhabit the deep forests of Scandinavia and Germany, embodying the spirit of the woods. These beings are generally considered gentle and helpful, often interacting with travelers or woodsmen by asking for favors or borrowing items. In return, they may offer a pouch of wood chips that can magically transform into gold once the traveler leaves the forest.
